The Corridor Drive
The 20-mile Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo is a beautiful drive along the coast. Having a car lets you stop at beaches, restaurants, and viewpoints along the way. It's also the most practical way to reach Corridor resorts.
Day Trips
With a car, you can visit Todos Santos (a charming art town, 1 hour north), La Paz (the state capital with incredible beaches, 2 hours north), and the East Cape beaches (1-2 hours east). These trips are difficult and expensive by taxi.
